My favorite Mediterranean to go place. Their meat pies are the best. All their food of good! And the grocery portion has everything you need to remind you of home!

I ordered the chicken souvlaki combo. It comes with pita chips and hummus and making it a combo adds a salad and a drink. It was quite busy as I came on a Sunday afternoon, but I had my food within 10 minutes. This cafe also has a bakery and grocery store aspect to it as well, so if you are looking for specific mediterranean ingredients or items, this is the place to go. Highly recommend the hummus!

This is a long time middle eastern bakery that also has a good size selection of foods. They have an oven and bake all their breads and pastries. They have sweet and savory pastries. Never been disappointed. They have a solid selection of middle eastern foods prepared fresh for each order. Their zaatar pizza is excellent.

Its has really great spices and herds love it.. The food is good and the eclairs are the bomb.com

Wow! Mediterranean Bakery & cafe is very impressive. Tucked away in the back of a shopping center the inside is like a grocery hidden gem. I ordered the chicken shwarma combo. The portions were very generous. The chicken was flavorful. You will also get a full size pita with your combo. The combo came with a side salad and a drink. The salad was a decent size and came with dressing already mixed inside of the salad. The grocery store had some authentic items and has a bakery section where you can get pastries and other items. The staff was very friendly and I could see why this place is a go to for your Mediterranean meals.

This is a good Middle Eastern market. Not the best I've seen, but their selection of refrigerated to-go items are bar none - and with many vegan-friendly options. Pumpkin kibbeh? No problem. Grape leaves without meat? No problem. Oh, not vegan? There's grape leaves with ground beef too. Cabbage rolls, yup. They've got pretty much everything ready for you to make a Middle Eastern picnic happen on the same day. While they're not my favorite in all of DC, it definitely ranks up there. However, I feel like their dessert selection could be better. They also have a cafeteria where they can cook and prepare hot foods for you - including manoushe or "pizzas" which I haven't tried from here yet.

While we've only tried the prepared foods at Mediterranean Bakery, it's really been fabulous. The selection of sweet and savory pastries are great... Get the savory ones warmed up if you want a quick bite. They're also really affordable. While we haven't gotten a lot from the hot food area yet, the flatbreads we've tried are so delicious. Again, really reasonable prices, they're ready quickly, and taste great. We've had the ground meat and the za'atar and cheese, but it's another area where I want to try more of what they have to offer. They're nearby for us and have quickly become a go-to when we want something different and not spend too much.

Stopped to look around and ended up getting cream puffs and two other small appetizers. Everything was good. They also have another area for their pies. I'll be back to try some others. It's also a small grocery store, but has plenty of things to find.
